That’s why we developed a unique tool to help you train smarter, better, and faster. It’s called Onboard Video Training, and it’s available to you at no added cost.
In keeping with our "real-world" general teaching philosophy, we created this visual tool to add value to our students’ educational experience because we believe it maximizes initial information processing and results in better long-term retention.
Why is this important?
Well, flying a helicopter is an extremely intense practice, one that requires the total focus and awareness of the student pilot, and because of that it may be very difficult for you to take in comments from your instructor during flight time. It may also be hard for you to remember everything that happened during a training flight. After all, when you’re up there the adrenaline can really start flowing.
So we tape everything for you to review later.
It sounds like a simple solution, but it has a big impact on learning. You can go over everything you did, including what you did right and what you did wrong, all while reviewing the lesson. This way, you won’t have to repeat the lessons in flight, and that will maximize the quality of your remaining flight time. You will continue to learn even after the blades have stopped turning.
