Commercial Helicopter Pilot License
A commercial helicopter pilot licence requires a minimum of 100 hours of flight time in the Bell 47 G4 helicopter. You will need to attend ground school, take a medical exam, purchase training materials, complete written and flight exams, and pay a licensing fee.

Vertical Reference

Mountain Flying
Our mountain flying licence is approved by both the Helicopter Association of Canada and the BC forest service. To obtain a mountain flying qualification requires a minimum of 22 hours of flight time in the Bell 47 G4 helicopter including training in:

- Density altitude vs. helicopter performance
- Reconnaissance, approach and departure techniques (including side hill pads, mountain top sites and operations from ridges)

Commercial Operations
